COMPONENT DETAIL

Configuration
CHASSIS
The chassis for this configuration must be configured as a twelve (12) 3.5” drive bay SR650. 7X06CTO1WW (AUVW) provides a hardware-only foundation for this configuration, or 7X06CTO3WW (BFZ7) is available as a complete Scale Computing solution, including software, from Lenovo.
CPU
The CPUs listed in the component detail section reflect the tested, qualified parts. The Lenovo SR650 in this configuration is capable of operating with any CPU with a TDP lower than 200W. 200W+ CPUs are not supported due to the disk configuration. (200W and higher TDP CPUs require a maximum of 8 drives or less to fall under a supported configuration by Lenovo)
MEMORY
Cascade Lake (Refresh) CPUs support DDR4 memory bus speeds from 2400MT/s to 2933MT/s with up to 6 memory channels. Actual configured speed and active channels depend on the CPU selection and DIMM population.

STORAGE
The first nine (9) drive bays must be populated with identical capacity rotational disk drives. The remaining three (3) slots are populated with three (3) SSDs of identical size. The Micron 5300 Pro series SATA SSDs have been qualified for use with HC3 on the Lenovo SR650. Ports C0, C1, and C2 should be connected on the 430-16i HBA.

NETWORKING
The Lenovo SR650 supports one LOM adapter card. Certified options are limited to:

POWER SUPPY
The system must be configured with the 1100W (110-230V) platinum-rated power supplies. Power cables rated for at least 10A (@230V) should be used with the 1100W power supply.

SYSTEM SETTINGS
Installation of HC3 (HCOS) requires system BIOS/UEFI settings to be adjusted to expected values.
