COMPONENT DETAIL
Configuration
CHASSIS
The chassis for this configuration comes as a kit with the CPU. It can accept a single M.2 NVMe SSD and two (2) DDR4 SODIMM modules.
CPU
The CPUs listed in the component detail section reflect the tested, qualified parts. Other NUC10 kits may not have support within the Scale Computing HyperCore OS.
MEMORY
Intel 10th generation Core CPUs support 2666MT/s DDR4 memory bus speeds with up to 2 memory channels. Both memory modules must be of the same speed and capacity.
STORAGE
The Intel NUC10FNK supports a single M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. The drives described in the Component Detail section are qualified for use on this platform. Please note that using different models or brand SSDs is not supported and may result in an incompatible hardware configuration. Take care when installing the M.2 drive into the NUC and ensure the chassis lid is oriented such that the thermal pad is making contact with the M.2 drive.
Drive installation :
NETWORKING
The Intel NUC10FNK utilizes a single Intel i219V RJ45 interface for networking. The use of the Intel AX201 WiFi 6 interface is not supported in HyperCore.
POWER SUPPY
It is recommended for the system to be paired with a power supply delivering 19VDCwith at least 65W power delivery. The recommended 120W power supply is sufficient to power any configuration and should be utilized unless using a lightly configured system which will be performing low impact workloads.
SYSTEM SETTINGS
Installation of HC3 (HCOS) requires system BIOS/UEFI settings to be adjusted to expected values.
